Depending on your requirements, the power protection system can either be fully automatic with the use of switchgear and changeover panels, or manual.

The system can either be housed externally or internally depending on the items required and space limitations. UPS systems will be located internally, whereas with a generator you can choose an open or enclosed weather proof set. Plant rooms can be designed and built for your power protection solution.

What running duration is required for the equipment? We can provide made to measure diesel fuel tanks for space limited applications, as well as larger fuel tanks of around 50,000 litres.

These items all effect the location of the generator and UPS system. When standard generator or UPS designs do not meet requirements, we use our specialist knowledge and expertise to design and build a fully bespoke installation. Environmental conditions greatly impact the design, such as desert or military specification whereby the equipment needs to be used in anything from -40C to plus 55C.

From underground carparks, to roofs of office blocks, we have experience in installing equipment in all types of environments. Standard installation services include supply and connection of generator and UPS systems by qualified electricians and engineers, fuel pipework, exhaust systems, load cables, rewiring of existing infrastructure, modifications of rooms and ducting, noise attenuation, electrical testing and commissioning.  We can arrange road closures and crane systems. 

We also provide decommissioning and generator or UPS removal services.
