The Requirement:
Backup Power to ensure the IT and telecoms services O-bit offer clients are continuous and effective.  With sales of over £15m, backup power is vital to O-bit, as they understand that in order to continue to provide the products & services their clients want now & in the future, they needed to take their future in their own hands.  They choose Generator Associates to supply, install & service a combination of generator & UPS system at their new data centre facility in High Wycombe.

The Solution:
Generator Associates Ltd considered a range of options including generator hire, lease and sales, and it was decided the benefits of having their own generator and UPS system on site 24/7 was the way forward.

The project involved the removal of the existing redundant generator which was then replaced with a new backup facility. An enclosed auto-mains failure diesel generator was carefully installed, along with a UPS system complete with online double conversion, inverter, bypass switch and paralleling kit. Generator Associates is bringing power to the forthcoming The Lord Of The Rings stage production at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane London.

Generator Associates Ltd are delighted to be associated with the forthcoming spectacular musical adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s The Lord Of The Rings in London’s West End.  The musical is set to wow audiences at its British and European Premiere from May 2007.

The Requirement:
Temporary power for some of the fantastic show automation, lighting and video effects, which are sure to leave audiences amazed.  The Lord of the Rings London Ltd required an efficient service provider who would offer cost-effective and relevant solutions.
